Smart Parking
Concerned about potential damage or bumps while your vehicle is parked? Piqo automatically starts recording when your vehicle is impacted and notifies you when you return. To activate this feature, the Piqo Pro Install or Piqo Quick Connect cable is required (sold separately).
To enable the Smart Parking feature on your Piqo dash cam, you’ll need to use either the Quick Connect cable or the Pro Install cable. The Quick Connect cable plugs into your vehicle's OBD socket, while the Pro Install cable connects directly to your car's fuse box. These connections allow the Piqo to take power from your car's electrical system when it's parked, ensuring that the camera automatically activates and records if your vehicle is knocked or bumped, even when the engine is off. These cables have inbuilt battery protection to ensure your car battery is always available to start your car.
