These specially developed tabs only take 2–3 minutes to dissolve. This means that the cleaning performance begins right at the start of the wash cycle.
For dry dishes - AutoOpen drying
At the end of the programme the door of the dishwasher opens automatically and leaves a small gap. The warm moist air is transported out of the wash cabinet, allowing even challenging load items such as plastic bowls to dry completely. Our special drying process protects your worktop from moisture.

Additional safety - Waterproof system (WPS)
WPS features a second solenoid valve directly at the stopcock. In the event that the first valve is defective, the second one closes the inlet. The sheathed water inlet hose also ensures the highest level of safety: in the event of damage to the inner hose, water flows down the outer sleeve into the floor tray.

The height-adjustable upper basket and the MultiComfort insert in the lower basket enable you to flexibly load crockery of all sizes so that everything is in the right place.

Miele dishwashers offer space for up to 14 standard place settings. Our baskets ensure that we comply with the relevant standards while also fulfilling your wishes and needs – all your items will be perfectly positioned and are thoroughly cleaned and dried.
Simple and convenient - FlexCare cup rack
The silicone elements ensure that items of crockery are held securely on the cup rack surface. The additional textured surface means that cups of different sizes can be placed next to each other. The cup rack is hinged and can be raised if necessary to make space for large cups and mugs.
Maximum flexibility - 3D MultiFlex tray
You can now place small pieces of crockery, such as espresso cups, into your dishwasher’s new and improved cutlery tray. The 3D MultiFlex tray has a sunken central section and two side sections. The left-hand section can be pushed to the right to create space for tall wine glasses in the upper basket. The depth of the right-hand section can be adjusted to easily accommodate large items of cutlery and small items of crockery.

Innovative water feed for washing with less water - EcoPower technology
In the ECO programme, water consumption is reduced to 8.4 litres. This also means that less energy is required to heat the water, and you benefit from an energy-efficient dishwasher. The water savings are achieved through the intelligent design of the supply system and a new, highly efficient filter system. Additional insulation reduces thermal losses and thus the amount of energy required to heat the water.
The most economical Miele dishwashers ever - Fresh water dishwasher
Miele dishwashers rely solely on fresh water and can wash crockery with as little as 6 litres of water in the Automatic programme - using significantly less than washing by hand. With this feature, Miele has reduced water consumption by 85 % over the last 30 years. Electricity consumption has also been reduced to new all-time lows: in the ECO programme we achieve A rating, which equals an energy consumption value of just 0.54 kWh (Comparison previous model G 5150 SCVi (Label D) to G 5651 SCVi (Label A) in Eco mode (= label declaration)).

You can use your dishwasher with a clear conscience even when it's not full: in almost all standard programmes, your dishwasher measures how many dishes are inside the chamber and precisely adapts the water consumption accordingly. Brilliant GlassCare washes glasses gently. The Gentle programme cleans at just 45 °C. The FlexCare glass holder with silicone padding holds wine glasses gently but securely. Patented AutoOpen drying opens the dishwasher door automatically at the end of a programme cycle. Glasses are dry, they do not have to be polished manually – and our perfectly matched cleaning products with glass protection formula provide the best possible care.
