How does it work?

It’s as easy as 1, 2,3….4

1. Make your purchase as normal in your nearest DID store or at did.ie

2. Save your receipt and log on to www.did.ie/taketheleap

3. Fill in the below form ensuring to give the correct order number listed on your receipt along with your Leap Card number

4. Our team will verify your details and an e-voucher to the value of 10% off your purchase will be issued to you within 7 days!

Terms & Conditions

  1. The 10% back voucher promotion is open only to valid student leap cardholders.
  2. The below steps outline the correct redemption process for this 10% back student leapcard voucher promotion.


  1. The student leap card holder purchases a product within the applicable product categories (see below) is made in a DID Electrical store or at www.did.ie
  2. The student leap card holder saves the receipt with order number stated on it and logs onto www.did.ie/taketheleap
  3. The student leap card holder fills in the registration form correctly giving the order number issued on the receipt along with the customer’s valid student ID number.
  4. A member of the DID Electrical team will verify the student leapcard number given is valid with the student leapcard database. Once validated, an e-voucher to the value of 10% off your purchase will be issued to the email address given within 7 days!
  5. In filling out the takethe leap registration form you thereby agree that you will provide true, accurate, current, complete and non misleading information as requested by the Promoter (DID Electrical) and its associated companies (Student Leap card)


  1. The student leap card 10% back voucher promotion will commence at 00.01 (GMT) on the 28th August 2017 and concludes at 23.59 on the 31st May 2018.
  2. Only valid student leap cardholders can participate in the 10% back voucher promotion. The 10% back voucher will only be issued to the authorized cardholder.
  3. The 10% back voucher is redeemable against any product in store or online at did.ie and can be used from 1st September 2017 to 1st September 2018.
  4. The 10% back voucher is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
  5. It’s at the discretion of the Promoter to investigate any apparent fraudulent use of the student leap card and abuse of the above terms and the Promoter (DID Electrical) reserves the right to not accept registered details that they deem invalid or fraudulent.
  6. For the purposes of this promotion, the 10% voucher back applies to purchases made in the following product categories: Tablets, Laptops, Cameras, Smartphone, Storage Media, Audio, Headphones, PCs, Game Consoles, Connected Home, Connected Health/Wearables, Printers, All accessories.
  7. The 10% voucher back value is calculated only on the retail price paid for any of the above categories of products. No other products are included in the promotion.
  8. The e-voucher may only be used once and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or published directly or indirectly in any form or by any means for use by an entity other than the original receipt without our prior written permission.
  9. The Promoter (DID Electrical) does not accept any responsibility for lost vouchers.
  10. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for vouchers invalidated/unreceived due to technical problems beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
  11. Should a participant of the promotion return or cancel their original purchase, they thereby agree to forfeit their qualification of the 10% back voucher and this voucher will be deemed null and void.
  12. No cash alternatives are available.
  13. The Promoter (DID Electrical) reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time without giving reason.
  14. The Promoter (DID Electrical) reserves the right at our absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions.
  15. The Promoter’s (DID Electrical) decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  16. The Promoter (DID Electrical) reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control with no liability to any entrants or third party.
  1. The 10% back voucher is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount – including but not limited to Summer Sale, Winter Sale, Black Friday and Cyber Monday
  2. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
