  • We are so confident that we will not be beaten on price, if you find the exact same product that we sold you within 7 days of purchase at a lower price anywhere else in the Republic of Ireland, we will give you a DID Electrical voucher for ‘Double the Difference’. That’s our Double the Difference Guarantee.

  • Q. I’m getting my machine delivered, will the team take away my old machine?

  • Yes, our delivery team will remove your old machine. Just ensure that the machine has been disconnected and emptied prior to your delivery time slot and our team will take it and have it recycled. If you have opted for our tam to install your new appliance than you don’t have to worry about disconnecting the old machine. Just relax and our team will do everything for you.

    If you wish to recycle a small appliance, please let our team know at the point of purchase and we can arrange for collection of your small appliances.
    Alternatively, you can drop your appliance into your local DID Electrical store and we will be delighted to recycle it for you, no purchase necessary.

  • Q. How do I check my delivery timeslot?

  • You should receive a text message on the morning of your delivery informing you of your time slot. If you do not receive this message you can contact our online team on 01-6250250 or you can use our online chat. The team will be able to advise your delivery time.
  • Q. I purchased a product; can I add an installation/delivery/ DID Protection Plan to my existing order?

  • Yes, our online and in-store teams would be happy to help you amend your order. You can contact our online team on 01-6250250 or you can use our online chat.
    Please note, you must add your DID Protection Plan within 28 days of ordering.
  • Q. I missed my delivery; how can I reschedule?

  • The driver will leave a calling card in the event of a missed delivery. This will have a contact number which you can call to rearrange a suitable date for delivery. If you have not received a calling card please contact our online team on 01-6250250 or you can use our online chat.
  • Q. I opted for ‘click and collect’, can a friend or family member collect on my behalf?

  • Yes, that’s no problem. You just need to contact our online team on 01-6250250 or you can use our online chat. to notify us that another named person is authorised to collect your order. The team will then contact the store in question to re-arrange. The person collecting on your behalf must have a copy of your invoice and photographic ID.
  • Q. Can I return an unwanted product?

  • Purchased Online
    If you have purchased a product online and you are not 100% satisfied you can return it up to 14 days after you receive the item. You have the right to return an item to us if it is faulty or in need of repair. Your 14-day period includes the return of unwanted goods provided they are kept in their original packaging and as sold condition. Should any item not be suitable for return due to hygiene reasons, such as headphones, the item can only be returned if that hygiene seal remains unbroken.

    Purchased in-store
    We can refund you in full by the original payment method, offer you an exchange, or a DID Electrical voucher to the value of your purchase; if you return the unwanted purchase as sold and with the original proof of purchase within the 14-day period. Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial purchase. If you made your purchase with a credit or debit card, then you will need to bring the card with you for our team to process the refund.
    If an item is returned without the receipt, we will unfortunately be unable to issue a refund. If the item is not returned in the same condition as sold, then we reserve the right to refuse a return. Goods must be returned in the original packaging, undamaged, unused and with all original accompanying documentation.

  • Q. My item is faulty, how do I get this repaired under warranty?

  • You can contact our online team or call in-store to confirm that your product is still covered under warranty. If the item is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty then the team will log a service call with the manufacturer.

  • Q. How do I cancel an order?

  • If you wish to cancel or amend an order you can visit your local DID Electrical store or contact our online team on 01-6250250. You can also use our online chat.
  • Q. I cancelled an order, but I have not received my refund?

  • Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial purchase. If you paid by card, please note that it can take 5-10 working days for your bank to process this refund after it has been authorised by DID Electrical.
  • Q. I collected my appliances from my local DID Electrical store; can I still have my old machine recycled?

  • Yes, you can bring your appliance into your local DID Electrical store to recycle or we can arrange to collect your appliance from your home. If you have had your appliance delivered, we will remove your old appliance free of charge. If you have collected your appliance a €24.99 charge will apply for our team to collect from your home.
  • Q. I received an online promotional voucher code, but it isn’t working?

  • If your promotional code is not working, ensure that you have not added any spacing to the end of the code. Some codes will have expiration dates, double check that your code is still valid by checking the terms and conditions at the bottom of your promotional e-mail.
