The Top 5 Gadgets to help you achieve your New Year's Resolution

The Christmas decorations are gone, the last of the roses tubs have been eaten and the antlers have fallen off most car windows. January is rushing by and our New Year's Resolutions might be seemingly a little daunting. So, to help you keep on track we have pulled together our top 5 gadgets for helping you reach your goals in 2019.

1.Get more Active

Not everyone wants to run a marathon this year. For a lot of us, it’s just about getting a little bit more active every day. Using a fitness tracker is a great way of seeing how active you are during the day. It’s a great motivator to get you skipping the lift at work, walking to the shops or going for a quick walk on your lunch break.

Our top gadget for getting moving is the Fitbit Versa. This wearable is water resistant to 50m, lasts up to 4 days on a full charge and records your heart rate. Perfect for tracking your progress this January.

2. Bring lunch to work

Bringing your lunch to work is a great way of saving money this year. Plus, for the price of a sandwich and crisps from your local deli, you’ll make enough soup to last the full week.

You can also freeze any leftovers. It will last in the freezer for up to 3 months. Perfect for any Sundays where you don’t feel like meal prepping.

Our top gadget for meal prepping is the Morphy Richards 1.6L soup maker. Make smooth or chunky soup in as little as 21 minutes. The perfect winter warmer dish!

3. Eat breakfast every day

Breakfast is a great way to kick-start your day. It will give you energy, help to wake you up and stops snacking before lunchtime. If you find it hard to fit breakfast into your morning schedule than try opting for a smoothie. It’s easy to make and can be put in a travel cup and brought with you on the trip to work. You can even prep these the night before and store in the fridge to save on time. Just be sure to give it a shake in case any of the ingredients have separated overnight.

Our top gadget for a quick breakfast is the NutriBullet 600w smoothie maker. It’s a great way of making tasty smoothies but packing in some veggies and seeds to kick-start your day.

4. Get out of bed earlier

Getting enough sleep is a key element to weight loss, mental health management and improving productivity. So, try heading to bed an hour earlier than normal and getting up 30 minutes earlier. Having that extra 30 minutes helps to reduce stress in the mornings and gives you plenty of time to get prepped for the day.

Our top gadget for an early start is the Sony radio alarm clock. The clock has a built-in FM/AM tuner and a gradual wake option.

5. Dry January

We have the perfect nightcap gadget for you this dry January. Plus, it’s getting colder. So, wrap up with a frothy coffee or indulge in a tasty hot chocolate. Just add a duvet and a new Netflix series and cosy nights-in are made!

Our top gadget for January nights in is the DeLonghi Lattissima Nespresso touch control coffee machine. This machine uses a capsule system so it’s quick and easy to make your perfect coffee and clean up after. The machine will also shut off after 9 minutes of non-use. So you can keep chilling on the couch or run out the door in the morning without having to worry.
