Samantha Mumba Hangs up the Apron
This week’s episode was the quarter finals which saw five celebrities turn into four, as Samantha Mumba became the sixth celebrity to leave the MasterChef kitchen. The celebrities battled it out in the most challenging task to date following Daniel’s masterclass where all five contestants did not have a completed plate for task #1 and Simon and Oisin saved the day in task #2. Here's what Twitter had to say on the nail-biting episode!
Simon Delaney kept the spirits high within the team throughout the episode cracking eggs and cracking jokes, "blowing everyone out of the water" with his leek and smoked haddock risotto!
@SimonDelaneyEsq You are doing amazing on MasterChef, Simon, well done on tonight's show. Dish of the whole competition is a great win :D

In what is now becoming the Cinderella story of 2017, Oisin McConville impressed everyone with his pistachio duck with pickled beets and cherries, wowing both the judges and food critics.
